Join
me in celebrating Balance as we approach the Autumnal Equinox. During
this unique time of year, the days and nights are the same length.
Traditionally this time celebrated the abundance of the past season as
the harvest was cultivated and the seeds were planted for a new cycle. This
can also be a time to look at creating balance in yourself and your
life; setting yourself and your life to be ready for your new cycle of
being. Remember everything that is placed on one side of the scale has
to have something else placed on the other side. As we take time to
slow down and turn our intention and attention inward, we can look
closely at the balance in our life and shift what needs to be
shifted or change what needs to be changed by asking simple questions
such as "How do you balance your
personal needs with your commitments to the outside world? How do you
receive? How do you give? How do you hold on to that which is no longer
beneficial in your life?"
